Mr. Beutel has been a Director of the Board since 1999. His principal occupation is as Chairman of Oakwest Corporation Limited, a private investment holding company. He is co-founder and former Chairman of Beutel Goodman and Co. Ltd., an investment management firm. Mr. Beutel holds an MBA from Harvard University, a B.Comm from McGill University, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has more than 50 years of business experience.

Eric Beutel ²³

Mr. Beutel has been a Director of the Board since 1994. His principal occupation is as Vice-President of Oakwest Corporation Limited, a private investment holding company. He holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa.  

Joseph Dickstein ^{1 5}

Mr. Dickstein has been a Director of the Board since 1995. His principal occupation is as Vice-Chairman and Director of PPI Financial Group, one of the largest independant life insurance marketing organizations in Canada.

Eric Kirzner ^1 2

Mr. Kirzner has been a Director of the Board since 1992. His principal occupation is as Professor of Finance and the John H.Watson Chair in Value Investing at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He is also lead external advisor to the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan and a Director of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada. Professer Kirzner holds an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Andrew Moor ³

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Moor has been on the Board of Directors since joining the Company in 2007. Prior to joining Equitable, he was the President and CEO of Invis Inc. He has served as Chairman of the Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals. Mr. Moor holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a B.Sc (Eng.) from the University of London.

David LeGresley ¹

David LeGresley joined the Board of Directors in May 2011. His principal occupation is as Corporate Director. He is a former executive of National Bank Financial holding positions in the area of corporate and investment banking and most recently serving as Vice Chairman form 2006 to 2008. Mr. LeGresley received a BASc degree in Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Lynn McDonald ⁴

 Lynn McDonald joined the Board of Directors in May 2011. Her principal occupation is as Corporate Director. She is a former managing director at CIBC World Markets. She is a director of the Bridgepoint Health Foundation and serves as Chair of their Finance and Audit Committee. Ms. McDonald earned a BA (Honours) in Economics from the University of Waterloo and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors-Rotman Directors Education Program.

Katherine Rethy ^{2 4} 

Ms. Rethy has been a Director of the Board since 2008. Her principal occupation is as Corporate Director and President of KAR Development Corp. Ms. Rethy is an accomplished senior executive with over 24 years of experience in professional, management and executive roles in Canadian-based global industrial companies. Ms. Rethy received her B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, her LL.B from the University of Windsor and her MBA from York University.  She is also a graduate of the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program.

Lionel Robins ^4 5

Mr. Robins has been a Director of the Board since 2000. His principal occupation is as President of PFDL Investments Limited, an investment holding company.

Morris Shohet ^{3 5}

Mr. Shohet joined the Board of Directors in 2009. His principal occupation is as Principal of the Dorchester group of companies. Mr. Shohet received his B.Eng in Civil Engineering degree at McGill University and his MBA from Harvard University.

Michael Shulman ^{3 5}

Mr. Shulman has been a Director of the Board since 2000. His principal occupation is as President of The Birchwood Group Inc., a company which invests in private equity and public securities in North America. He is a Chartered Accountant and the former Chairman of a national firm of chartered accountants.
